PRINT WITH OFFSET
All print jobs will begin with our quote form. We’ll follow up with a custom quote and timeline for your project.
We also offer design services if you need custom artwork.
Offset is a private studio and does not currently offer in-person appointments.
TURNAROUND TIMES
Timelines vary depending on the number of colors, finishing services, and order volume. Our current turnaround time averages 7-10 business days, not including shipping. We’ll provide an exact timeline with your quote.
SHIPPING
All orders are shipped via USPS and we use ground shipping whenever possible to cut down on carbon emissions. Expedited orders are considered on a case-by-case basis. Email shipping@offsetprintshopmt.com if you need a rushed order.
We use recycled and compostable packaging, and you can opt-in to plastic-free packaging when you submit a quote form. Prints shipped in plastic-free packaging are enclosed in either a wax paper sleeve or wrapped in kraft paper to protect them from the elements.
Local pick-up and drop-off options are available in Bozeman, Four Corners, and Belgrade, Montana.
FINISHING
Trimming, Folding, Scoring
Offset offers trimming, folding, and scoring in-house for an additional fee. More information can be found here.

FILE PREP
Step-by-step File Setup
Create an art board or canvas that is the dimensions of your finished artwork. Do not tile your work. (Ex: if designing a 5x7” print, create and export a 5x7” file.) We will tile the artwork for print on our end.
Set margins to 0.125” on each side.
Set bleed to 0.125” on all sides if designing full-bleed work
Set DPI to 300-600
Vectorize all text, and set to 8pt minimum for legibility.
Set large areas of solid color to 70-90% opacity. Dense ink printed at 100% leads to patchy printing and increased smudging.
Condense your artwork layers into one layer for each ink color.
Blue

Export one full-color PDF as a mock-up of your final artwork for our reference.
Select each color layer and change to Spot Black. Your design software should keep all opacities intact.
Export one PDF per ink color in Greyscale/B&W.
If you’re printing with 4 colors, you will send us 5 files: one per each ink layer (4) and one full-color mock-up.
File Setup Service
